  • Wow the room looks so warm and inviting...=)

  • @sweetgem123 Thanks so much! It's very tranquil, and it JUST got a facelift with the addition of picture rail molding added about 6 inches below the top of the doors - all around the room. Then a basket-weave textured tan-ish grasscloth wallcovering was put up from the baseboards up to the molding. It added a warmer wrap to the room and a bit more "jewelry" to the walls.

  • dig it..dig it..dig it.. " however" i cannot imagine a room so free of "stuff" how does one have interests and not collect "stuff" over the years ?

    ponder amongst..

  • @plutoplatters Two big reasons for the lack of "stuff" - this bedroom has been "staged" for resale, so the clutter has been removed; and this is a weekend home, so the couple's New York City apartment IS more cluttered and packed with stuff. Thanks so much for watching!

  • @plutoplatters I used to feel that way until I saw a movie -- a romance. The handsome single doctor's livingroom had nothing in it but a table and chair. It was quite a memorable setting ...soulful and thought-provoking in its bare starkness, causing me briefly to desire clarity and order of things. "What more could you want, other than a good book?" I wondered. I liked it, but then maybe it was the doctor. He himself was a work of art.

  • @mailily Spooky! :D

  • @AngelicAcid453 Lol! I wasn't thinking of it before, but I am now!
