boswellGallery Artist

Phil Proctor

Artist Phil Proctor lives and works in Atlanta, GA. Phil states,"Much of being an artist is the way one views things, from small objects to mere existence".

For me art is a perceptive, creative process. When working with found objects and recycled materials I take an interpretative approach to the material. All objects have a voice of what they are, what they were or what they desire to be. The objects that I use in my sculpture retain characteristics of past purposes, therefore contributing to the composition. My goal as an artist is to approach objects from a new perspective and to see them and represent them with a fresh artistic format that reflects ideas of life, culture and my own existence.

Discover our exclusive collection with some of the world's

I forgot to mention that I shot this video on my Cannon Powershot 8 meg. still camera on video mode. We installed the sculpture in about an hour and a half, and posted the video all in about 2 hours.

    Thanks for watching!
