Harry Sacksioni vs Jan Akkerman - The Battle

A regular part of this show, De Wereld Draait Door, in which they invite master musicians to participate in a battle, just for fun and glorie. In this case two of, in my case, quite desicive players having been influenced my way to (like to) play guitar. The intro is quite long but shows some short nice historical frags of both guys, anyway enjoy!

;) pick not allowed!!! I dont mean akkerman is not good. he is master, too. the level of fingerstyle a far away of picking style. Im a pick-user, too. But to make it all, i will need my complete 5 finger to work lowE A D G B and HighE frequently at the same time.

That,s typical dutch vara inbreed television..... Some of the best musicians getting 6 minutes airtime. For other musicians its as little as one and halve minute.... Presenter think,s he much more important then the artists........ Jan Harry ,,, do your trick and fuck off...

Aha. You succeed pretty well in playing one note on one string at a time. That's your style.
Did you ever play Harry's music? Check it out, and put your fret buzz-less performance of Doris Day or I Wish on YouTube. Or maybe you wanna go for the jazz-oriented 'Walk Over'.
