Dash Cam - Guy Punches Cop During Traffic Stop

Police said that Officer Jason Deaton pulled over a car on Aberdeen Drive and Central Avenue. Deaton then got into a scuffle with the motorist, Eric German, 45, as he tried to take him into custody on suspicion of German's involvement in a hit-and-run crash, police said.

Video from Deaton's camera shows the men fighting, including one point where both men hit the front of the cruiser.
An officer arrived 20 seconds after the beginning of the fight and used a Taser gun to subdue German.

Deaton was hospitalized overnight and released Thursday morning, but prosecutors said in court that the officer would need reconstructive surgery.

German appeared calm in court Thursday as he learned he faced a dozen different charges and his bond would be set to $500,000.

Look at it this way: For every 10 cops who deserve a beating for abuse of authority (but avoid repercussions for deviant behavior) there is 1 who gets his ass kicked for no valid reason. For anyone who has been victimized by uniformed criminals during a routine stop this video is very enjoyable. My definition of victimized: being stopped by a lawless, scumbag rookie who fabricated a reason to perform a car frisk. Getting a bogus firelane ticket. The pig didn't show up in court.
