  • its not just 4 chords, and the song is F minor

  • @FunkMasterKRoc - if you absolutely MUST sing the song in the key of F minor then by all means put a capo on the first fret because - why make life more difficult than it is already?

  • This was a great lesson :)

  • Wowbagger - wow - glad you liked it! This is probably my last lesson since my teenager can play better than me now... he likes heavy metal anyway ...

Just trying to show how a bit of picking can fill out a basic song arrangement - happy that you found it useful ;.)

  • I'm intermediate, but I'm still not good at notes ;) So I look at videos to figure out chords even for easier songs and techniques. Also this is great for beginners! You can still make these video's even though your son is improving, why not have a jam with him? :)

  • Thanks again! Well I am just a beginning guitar player myself although I've been playing piano for 30 years (it helps a little) ....

Yes, I do jam with my son! Not very often though, it's a little too "Partridge Family" for him - if you know what I mean ;.)

Hey if I subscribe to you does that mean you'll post something?

  • i need a maam who play the guitar in my house lol

  • CHRE'S SONG

  • It's better to start with the basics, then you can play more and more songs as time goes by, istead of kicking ass with only one ;) But find good tabs for this song and try it from time to time, suddenly you know more than you knew you would :)

  • I'm flattered but you should probably start with a TWO chord song - I don't want you to hate me lol

There is an awesome lesson for Horse with No Name on the guitarnoise site ...

... and I have a 2 chord song too (earlier on in the videos), Hush Little Baby, just strumming and picking 2 basic chords.

    Good luck!
