Officer Jeremy Kyle killed, Officer Teresita Watson wounded
...A domestic dispute between two off-duty police officers who had been romantically involved left one dead and the other injured... Both were patrol officers at the same precinct... Shular said [Jeremy] Kyle and [Teresita] Watson, who had lived together in the home on Breezy Gate Drive until their recent breakup, had been involved in other disturbances at the house. On April 20, police responded to an argument between Watson and Kyle, but neither was arrested. Also, last New Year's Eve, deputies were called to the house when Kyle removed some belongings from there. No arrests were made in that incident, either... Domestic violence was also cited in the death last year of another Memphis police officer, Tony M. Hayes, 37. Deputy jailer Monique Nicole Johnson... "One day of the week I get to sleep in, come out and everybody was already out here," says neighbor Mike Burnwatt...

same thing that happens everywhere else. Cops ignore domestic violence until someone finally gets killed. If these people can't handle their relationships with civility, why are they running loose in the city with badges and guns?
