  • Isnt Exchange just better than Gmail anyway?

  • ASU used a custom web page that pulled email from IMAP servers for students. Only faculty and staff were allowed Exchange accounts.

  • I would guess they were using Exchange Server.

  • I'm curious about what ASU was using for email before switching to Google apps and what type of network they have in place currently? Anyone know?

  • I'm very happy with Google Apps. They have opened some great doors to collaboration and I'm looking forward to what we have yet to see at ASU.

  • The transition to Google Apps has been very, very smooth. Basically right now all students have a custom-made iGoogle page that shows literally everything you need on one single page. It's even connected to Blackboard.
