@Frisby2007 honestly, johnny depp is a good a actor. but as willy wonka, he looked like a rapist/michael jackson. and he sounded like an idiot, as well as the fact that his lines were annoying. i agree, the new charlie is kinda annoyingly good. hes like freaking Jesus. the old one is much better, but i do kind of like this new one. wether it followed the book or not, its an amazing classic. and the acting is awesome! i love veruca, and gene wilder as willy.

@xx2n23 You're full of shit, really you are. You're argument already lost when you said that the new one had bad acting. The old one had some of the worst acting I have ever seen in a 70s movie. Hell the acting in the 70s one was as bad as Twilight's acting. And if you think that the songs in the new one were shitty, then you are the biggest moron this page has. The songs in the new one all sounded great & different. The new one did everything right, especially since it followed the book.

@thrashmetalfiend Oh I'd be glad to elaborate how the old one is a piece of shit film, in fact, I'll give you three (or more) paragraphs on how bad it is. But youtube's damn word limit won't let me pot them all, I'll reduce it to short ones. The old one has terrible acting, acting much worse than Twilight's. The story & plot are predictable. EVERYONE in this movie is a miscast. It stays NOTHING true to the book. Has poorly written songs. And even has some of the most pitiful characters ever made
