I blame it on Simon Cowell. He's sexist when it comes to females that are healthy (i.e., have meat on their bones). He constantly told Kimberly Locke she needed to lose weight; ditto Frenchy but he said nothing about Ruben. IMO, it's not about the talent, it's about Marketing. Ruben was supposed to pick up all the Luther Vandross fans; Fantasia was being marketed as "the Baby Mama" . . . BOTH HAVE BEEN DROPPED. Like Clay said: "Angela and Quiana" are the best voices around today.
