I downloaded this a couple months back when I found this, and it has been something I frequently listen to on loop. Trance at it's finest, and it's from a VG, double awesome : ) 3:19 is my favorite part, but the whole thing is unforgetable!

you should upload mp3 for us, if anyway ur account gets deleted, can never trace the track.....back

My guess is that you are the kind of guy who could have made some great Genesis music back in the day once you sussed out the limitations. Cheers. :-)

Your music is still great!

Sorry for the double post Siamey. My PC's a bit slow and I thought it was locked up. Keep up the great tracks!

"Sega Genesis uses an FM synthesis sound chip by Yamaha. The sound chip has 6 FM channels with the ability to switch FM channel #6 to a PCM channel for 8-bit sample playback at a somewhat low samplerate. Additionally, the Genesis has a TI (Programmable Sound Generator) with 3 square wave channels and one noise channel (tones and white noise similar to some sounds on TG-16/PCE, GameBoy, NES, SMS) for extra music and sound effects." Crazy! 6 notes for the whole soundtrack! Nice piece tho Siamey!

Very nice Siamey....really..BUT.....and I mean.....B-U-T...lol......can you do that with the same tools Jon Holland used to make the original in 1995? The Sega Genesis sound chip is about 1/1,000,000th the technology used on your remix.! ALL the sound you hear in the game was created using the Genesis internal synthesizer and apparently it had a lot less capability than your new mobile phone.....and that's why ALL Sega Megadrive/Genesis music use the same sounds more or less. Nice track!

@89pyogi lol ofcourse dude, I didn't say I could program the YM261, that shit is intense. It is by far my favorite video game sound chip. Genny's chip only had 6 channels, and only one of them could act as PCM. So that is like 1 drum track with 5 FM voices. I use at least 5 times that plus digital polyphony in this mix, there is no way I would compare myself to Jon or any of the people who made tunes for Gen.
