Paul Ryan October Townhall part 1 (of 4)

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) delivered a copy of the House version of health care "reform" (which my co-blogger Shoebox has termed "PlaceboCare") to the Franklin Public Library as part of a townhall meeting.

In this segment, Ryan lists the taxes that make up the largest tax increase in history, points out that Health Savings Accounts will be history, notes that this will allow public funds to pay for abortions, removes the $245 billion Medicare "doc fix" to make it appear deficit-neutral, creates a new health-care entitlement, expands the already-broke Medicaid program by 50%, and drastically reduces Medicare Advantage.

It's already illegal for public funds to pay for abortions. The law was passed in 1976 and it's called The Hyde Amendment. That comment is a lie. Tax rate did not got up for the top tier. Another lie. Read and learn for yourself.
