Belkin Gigabit HD Powerline Adaptors Wiping out DAB Radio

This video is evidence of the Belkin Gigabiot HD starter Kit powerline adaptors destroying radio reception at a residence in Cambridgeshire in August 2010.
These were bought from BT Shop and are the subject of a Trading Standasrds complaint. Thery were returned to BT under the Sale of Goods act and a full refund was given to the customer.
This what Belkin told another prospective customer who enquired about the product:

These are illegal and you could be prosecuted for using them... Just because you can buy them in does not make any difference. You can buy a car but if you start honking the horn all night or driving around at 100mph you are going to get into trouble... These things splatter over miltary and emergency radio comms.. They block car keyfobs from working.. Test have shown fire brigade two way comms being jammed at 1000 feet away from one of these things

can you help me for some reason my WD livewire just stopped working and my netcomm one stopped as well, its after we got a gigabit router is it because of the 200 megs limit? Worth buying a new one cuz im a competitive gamer.

they can not keep up with the sreaming for films and if you use more of them you will lose dab all over the house lol.

Another good example of how these horrid things should not be used. I wonder if they have any effect on deaf aids and pacemakers or for that matter any other medical equipment.

This is an outstanding non-technical demonstration of a real-world deployment of PLT and the unequivocal breach of the Essential Requirements of the EMC Regulations - which state that radio equipment MUST NOT be prevented from operating as intended. Any PLT with the GIGLE chip-set (currently Belkin and soon, Solwise) will have this effect since they use radio signals over the mains, interference is inevitable.
