My Blood Pythons 7 3 2009

This video displays video as well as still photographs of my four Blood Pythons. At the end is some video footage of me handling two of my bloods to show how gentle they can be. So many people think that Bloods are just monsters, but that is just not true. I hope you enjoy this Video.

My two females are sweethearts. One of my males is pretty good and then my other male is a bit touchy/nervous. The most important thing to remember when handling a blood is that this are terrestrial snakes. They feel really uncomfortable when picked up. The best thing you can do is give them very gentle handling while supporting them with both hands and arms. Also, it is wise to recognize when bloods are done being handled, they are done. Put them/him/her away in their cage. I hope this helps.

Mine looks exactly like Ophion. Shes female and growing so fast! Ive have her for about a year now. Started her on rat pups and she is now eating adult rats. Or two mediums. As tame as can be. Way more mellow than my ball. She is not head shy at all. I can rub her face and she wont even flinch. Unlike my red tails.

yea I jus picked up a 1.0 baby blood too. He is pretty mean but getting better. Jus handle them for a little while whenever possible. Captive are moldable in terms of getting to be tame.
