i was actually looking for the shopping centre NAMBA WALK when i found this. quite cool. i live in osaka and you've done well capturing it!!
the glico man (running man) is one of the most recognisable spots in osaka. apparently the first thing they released was a caramel candy that contained enough energy for a man to run exactly 300 metres (depicted in the neon lights). You can wiki this story :)

Hey man loved the vid! I am moving to Japan for a year in September and I will be near Namba Station, I know this is dotonbori but i get the idea! really enjoyed it! I plan on doing a similair style vid when i'm there for friends etc!

dotonbori is about 5 min walk from namba station. Hope you have an awesome time. I know I did.

That isn't Namba walk, Namba walk is an underground shopping strip. It looks like Dotombori.

You are right, It is dotombori... but at the time I recorded it, I was told it was Namba Walk.. Id never been to Japan before so, or anywhere for that matter so I just ran with it... lol,. still thats not the point of the video now is it?

I know it isn't the point of the video, my point was just to highlight that the place in the video wasn't Namba Walk. The reason being is that any future tourists to Osaka will be very disappointed if they get directed to Namba Walk as it is a great place to shop if you are an elderly Japanese woman. Dotombori on the other hand, well watch the clip...
