PC Gary Best wants to join PC Gabriel Kent's SWAMP (Straight White Male Police Association). But Gabriel and Smithy don't want him in so to prevent him from joining, they tell him that he has to pass an inanition, which is really a dumb prank to make him look stupid - they trick him into running around the station with no clothes on!!!

@CHANNELMICHAEL Well Paul went way too far with Kent, which was a big mistake. I would've liked it if they'd left a door open for Kerry or if they still didn't, it would've been nice to have a better aftermath to Kent's suicide... maybe one where Smithy had a breakdown?

@LightSpirit06 Yes, exactly what I thought should have happened. It was virtually unmentioned after he jumped off the tower block. Smithy didn't actually want him to die, he wanted to bring him to book for killing Kerry, the writers just seem to have forgotten.

@CHANNELMICHAEL I think Gabriel was an evil toerag and a murderer, when he topped himself I was pleased he was a nutter and volatile in every way. Gabriel killed poor Kerry was a pretty girl who I could have kissed billions of times, she was also sexy and a warm person in every respect. I wish that bloody Cathy had been shot dead instead of Kerry, Cathy was like Lady Macbeth in every way she killed Tanya and max assualted Robbbie Cryer and kidnapped Brandon's children. The evil bitch she was.
