Yes, we had Timothy McVeigh, but he was one of a kind and in no way commonplace, so the analogy you used is flawed. However, I do acknowledge that there are bad people in every society and that quip was quick and off the cuff and in no way meant to be taken to heart nor intended to offend ;-]
