  • At the least, trophic factors can slow the progress of the disease by halting the cell death that leads to symptoms. How much it slows the progress of the disease will vary by patient, but trophic factors cannot rejuvinate cells that are already dead.

  • Will this treatment slow the progress of the disease? or can it stop the progress?
