It's weird. At 17 when this song came out, I truely understood it's meaning. At 52 and in failing health, it'll be my funeral song. The meaning never changes You dont get songs like this these days. I'm glad I grew up in the era I did.

Good music ....... lasts forever, no matter how old. With the exception of some country, christian & gospel songs, there's VERY few good music left anymore.
