Well this was a FD in New York I believe aquired a structure and wanted to train on it bet no one was expecting this to happen :-O

apparently gas had been thrown throughout the whole house and all of the fumes had settled to the point where whenever the FF threw in the flare BOOM. I'll see if I can find more details about the video

well 1 think it happen one of there engines broke down and the gases accumulated for good 30 + minutes and then the boom if the engine didint broke this wouldn't have happen

@twotwo30Productions no gas was not thrown throughout the house, There was a natural gas leak in the basement and gas had accumulated over time before it had been shut off, The fumes were still there when the burn took place and well flame + Nat gas = B000M

I have to agree with Dal90, anyone who has put diesel and gas mixed together in the open makes a very good explosion( burn pile experience ). a little bit of gas goes a long way in diesel

I saw this video on tv, they said they used an accelerant but didnt tell anyone... maybe they did know because he tossed it in the house like he expected something BIG, proabaly not that big though.
