Religion doesn't have anything to do with happiness, in fact if you know your history, Catholicism has been a great suppressor of happiness. Think about the Spanish Inquisition, they tortured and killed anyone who weren't Catholics, so in your mind you think torture and death= happiness? The reason us Filipinos are happy, is because we are layed back, and we have strong family ties...

@tarukigake - However , corruption is so deeply rooted in the philippine from top to the bottom of the governemt , well know in the world. Even if you were poor, still want to be pinoy? Speaking about yourself, your top university voted more than top 350 , school lack of chairs,police lack of cars, pistols,army equipment in the 60s,electricy 2nd highest in the world,biggest importer of rice in the world,millions of streets kids,million rushing out to get jobs, no jobs at home,want to be PINOY??

Ordinary people in Philippines can eat fresh seafoods, porks, vegetables, fruits and etc easily-- Not a SHIT PRESERVATIVES. Also, we are not working and working to PAY CREDIT CARDS UNLIKE AMERICA. Fuck-- we are a poor country but people are smiling and happy. WE are lucky to live here. We can go to beach, have disco and etc. even if we are not in middle class or high class type of family. Our life here even if we are working hard and the pay is not the same as USA but still we have time for fun
