The Super Committee that everyone knew wasn't going to be able to come to any bipartisan deal to cut a minimum of 1.2 trillion dollars from the deficit, has failed. But those cuts wouldn't set in until January of 2013, and so that leaves Congress a whole year to reverse their own deal and rules that they set up this summer, once again, to ensure that nothing actually happens or gets done. And the funny thing is that the less they get done, the more the deficit actually goes down.

  • @bohemianwriter1 Spot on...i couldnt agree more....it's the only way, in order to establish a fair level playing field.

  • Actually, the Super Committee was a SUCCESS... because the true objective was to do NOTHING. The elites do not want Congress solving to their manufactured crisis.

    Problem (Overwhelming Debt)

    Reaction (World Wide Inflation)

Solution (Burn all paper and replace with One World Digital Currency)

They will force people to use this currency by controlling the sales of all major commodities, especially oil.

  • @polkarde

Not only that, but we see that if you're not rich, and have connections, you don't stand a chance in getting elected to anything. Perhaps to some schoolboard maybe.

95% of all elections have been won by the one who's got the most money to spend.

I see the campaing contributions, and i'm thinking, this money could be spent on something real.

    Get money out of politics!

  • @bohemianwriter1 That's a fair point....the lobbyists as a special interest, are the real corrupting influence of all our politics...but as this activity appears to have been sanctioned by Supreme Court, i dont see this bad practise being curtailed any time soon.

  • Those leggings!! Looking good, Alyona!

  • @polkarde

Well, we know that at least half of the members there have signed a pledge to a special interest group, also called lobbyists with Grover Norquist as it's high priest.

  • @ProthoPectore Last time i checked, this 'super committee was made up of members within Congress, and not any outside, unelected group.

  • Thumbs up if you would like to bend her over and insert your own Stimulus Package....

  • Let them gridlock. Then the Bush tax cuts will expire. Problem solved.
