analog, hands down.mp3s are only good 4 protectin your vinyls, cause you dont have to carry them from one place to another and get lost or damaged.but i can if you re a good DJ,you can fill up even to 1 hour of playin with just 4 songs (on vinyls) cause you know how to mix.vinyl is flexible, just gotta learn how to use it

(PART 2 ) these technical characteristic´s mean that when you are recording to a digital format 44100 samples per second of the original analog sound are taken and stored in a 16 bit word . This means that not all the analog waveform is sampled, even in higher sampling frequencies (48 , 96 ,192 khz) or higher bit rates like (32 or 64 bit´s) plus the psychoacoustic factor that our ear´s don´t notice the difference in sound quality as in dynamic range ,
-
(PART 1) I respect both types of format´s but if you ask a sound engineer he will tell you that the overall sound quality of vinyl is better than digital. The digital signal is an approximation of the analog original sound that´s recorded , when you record a sound at a specific sampling frequency (for example the industry standard 44.1 khz) and a specific bit-rate (for example the industry standard 16 bit´s ) .

Dijital djing is bullshit.

Don't let vinyl die. That's all i've got to say.

I'm a vinyl DJ but I really don't hate on mp3's... In the end, they all share the same message: music!

i am also a dj digil will kill in the end the sound !!!!!AND THAT S IT!

@loko34 vinyl feels different when djing. i´m from ur generation and i switched to vinyl. why? first off, there´s so many wannabes out there who grab traktor or virtual dj or stuff and just beatmatch with the eyes.
vinyl lets you concentrate on the music instead of the screen because u will ALWAYS look at the screen, it´s like when there´s a TV in a room u´ll gonna always look at it.
i´m a dnb dj that plays on up to 4 decks- nothing special with a laptop but who can do this on vinyl?
not many.
(PART 4) because that are no approximations between the played and the recorded sound .
So it all comes down to a choice between the two of them, digital as better dynamic range but the sound recorded is an approximation of the original one, analog as better sound quality but as a smaller dynamic range.
Personally i prefer quality .........
Now you have to make your choice!!!!!!

(PART 3) ( the difference between the noise level and the signal level) . Now the interesting thing about vinyl is that the waveform that´s recorded in it IS EQUAL TO THE ORIGINAL SOUND THAT WAS RECORDED although the dynamic range is smaller than the digital domain. For example if you record a bass guitar to a analogue tape and then record it to a vinyl THEY WILL SOUND THE SAME because they are equal this is why sound engineer´s call it analog ,
