ive had a concussion this year from falling off a horse, i know how hard it is, i just want to say, thank you to all of the other equeatrians who put their life on the line when they climb into that saddle, and horse back riding is a sport, a team sport, two hearts, two minds, and two bodies working and winning, and sometimes falling, together, and when ur partner is gone, u mourn, horses, and people, in perfect harmony, its a sport. a thrilling, and sometimes tragic sport, but a sport.

I know this kid at school who wouldn't shut up about how riding was soooo easy, so I took him to my old riding stable. He jumped on an Arab stallion, lying to my old teacher that he could jump. And when she told him to show her his stuff, he kicked Rocky. NEVER kick Rocky. In moments, he was off at a canter and flew off. He was okay, but cried. He CRIED! I galloped before by accident and didn't even let out a whimper! And he thought HE was tough with all his football junk! What a baby!

Horse riding is no where near easy. A couple of days ago I pulled a muscle in my leg giving my horse a certain que!! I have also been to the ER plenty of times

Im showin this to my non horseridin friends see what they say. In school the teacher asks wa sports we do and i say horse riding and th teacher an my friends say "thats a hobby not a sport" and i be like OMG FUCK OFF YOU BASTARD GO SIT ON A HORSE AND SEE WHAT ITS LIKE IT IS NOT EASY xxx

horseback riding is a sport,many say its not but it is..i mean we put our LIFE on the line to do what we love and for onther sports,well, your probly looking forward to a cut hand or something then you shake it off and say "no biggie"...we do the same when we fall BUT when we get hurt BAD.....it may be the end of horseback riding for them or worse yet, just about anything.

hey i do show jumping since i was just a little girl,and evrytim someone asks me wat sports i do i say horsejumping and they say well thts not a sport!!!i hate wen ppl sat tht,ya there gonna say tht now but wait till they sit on a horse then they will no!!!

@ochick789 i understand that they get injuries from underdeveloped bones. but these horses were bred for running! those horses love what they do! it gives them a chance to run, be themselves! to me, show jumping looks more dangerous than racing. ive seen more jumping accidents than racing accidents. go ahead and correct me!
