  • Exactly what erikeepper said, your broke it down to a single stroke four, not the herta. (Single stroke 4=RLRL, Herta=RLR-L)

  • @Oli4drums You are very correct. Im not that great of a drummer or musician for that matter, so it makes somethings very difficult to teach

  • wanna see a guy do this with his feet ? look up Bleed by the band meshugga

  • @aleczander1134206 They are great!!! I can play this on my feet as well. Nice to see a meshugga fan out there!!!

  • You actually play a different hand pattern than the one you broke down :D. The fill you play is RLR_L_RLR_L_RLR_L_R where _´s are breaks. And the slowed one is RLRL__RLRL__RLRL__. You kinda should think about the fills more before posting a tutorial. But no offence.

  • @erikeepper I am truly sorry about any mistake I made or for any misguidance. Im really not proficient in any notation. It can very difficult to teach when this happens. In my head, this is what it was to me. I believe some may have called it a Herta...??? Thank you very much for viewing my video. Drum On

  • I tapped my hi-hat and it predicted rain tomorrow. And the bass drum said 30 degrees.

  • @billpeart You got it correct for the most part though. You're better than expertvillage! hahaha

  • the breakdown is actually two 16ths - rl - and two 8ths -rL- with all for notes being part of a triplet, so its 1 beat long. so yes basically it sounds like rlr-L

its a herta. pretty sure its a hybrid rudiment.

i personally learned it from the song violence by blink 182

    hope this helps

  • its not rlrL its rlr_l nice try though trying to break it down if it was rlrL it would just be 16th notes all the way through you played hertas on the set

  • a barometer measures pressure.
