I have many friends who went to tanning salons and their skins are nice and bronze - but what they DON'T know is that it's coming back to haunt them!! I hope you're OK now

In the 70's & 80's we all "over did it" outside and/or in tanning salons. We know now that burning can increase your risk for skin cancer. I am at the forefront of educating people to NEVER BURN! However avoiding sunshine/UV is not the answer. We need UV to survive & we need a tan to protect ourselves from burning. A tan will actually help PROTECT you from skin cancer (due to sunburn protection & vitamin D)
Please tan responsibly & in moderation (according to your skin type & previous exposure)
I am currently 14 years old and have obviously never used a tanning bed. However, I am going through the 'Elliptical excision' tomorrow on my back for a biopsy. Do you have any idea how big the scar will be? Just because some peoples are very small such as yours, but some are very large even with a leision smaller than mine. Do you know why this is? Thankyouu xx

@MissCkatie - Hi... I'm not an authority on how scars heal- but- since your only 14 - it should heal fairly nicely.... & fade in time. Good luck with the Biopsy.
