Two of the most underrated cast members from that roughly 1988-1996 golden period of SNL. Miller was the best weekend update guy there was and Dana might have been the most talented member during the era.
Strange how both of them got so obscure nowadays

He's had very bad heart problems. A doctor botched his bypass surgery and it took years to make it all better. That took him out of the comedy loop, and I bet it also deeply changed him on a personal level.

Okay, Dennis Miller is as much of a hack now as anybody. But for me he was the best Weekend Update host ever. Stewart learned a lot from his "do you believe this shit?" attitude.
It's too bad he had to become a conservative "comedian". Conservatives can do mockery, but they can't ever get enough distance to do satire. These days, he could learn something from Stewart.
