What I've been up to lately..

Recently, when I started my Christmas shopping , I stopped in a bookstore to look for something in particular. I ended up browsing a book on Mixed Media art. I thought it was pretty amazing what the author did with scraps of paper, glue, and some gesso. I watched video after video about making collages and art journals. I was inspired! So, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in years and started making my own Mixed Media art & my first art journal. I had forgotten how much I loved creating art. I'm glad that I've finally found that piece of myself again. And yes, I'm in my PJs. For some reason inspiration and creativity strike me when it's late at night.
