The Breaking Winds: Hip Hop Bassoon

From our concert in Eastman's new Hatch Recital Hall, the Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet performs Hip Hop Bassoon by Kara LaMoure ("bassed" on Rapper's Delight). Jonny Allen is our spectacular drummer.

The Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet was formed in 2008 in Rochester, NY. Members are Brittany Harrington, Yuki Katayama, Kara LaMoure, and Lauren Yu.

Rapper's Delight was a rap done over a loop of disco band Chic's song, "Good Times" by Nile Rodgers. This is DISCO Bassoon! :)
