Autoline goes to the movies in Part One of this special discussion in which we talk about the special role automobiles have played in films throughout the years. Early on, comedians such as W.C. Fields, Laurel and Hardy, and the Keystone Cops discovered the car could be the perfect conduit for slapstick antics. Later the industry itself was featured more heavily in such films as "The Betsy" with Sir Laurence Olivier and "Black Test Car," a Japanese film dramatizing corporate espionage.
