  • I'm a professional musician, and this cut is so tight it's ridiculous. The drummer is sick, and Jimmy Haslip and Carlos Rios are on fire.

The entire "Brother To Brother" album is awesome.

  • if we analize this song, which for me it is just a master piece! #1. it has all the jazzy influence of the 80s, but must of the song has a real test of all the musician that played in the late 70s and the entire 80s love this song!

  • at the begining of the song it sounds just like a piece of Casiopea, buy in the min 5.10 it really is like hearing Toto check it out

  • Most amazing drumming ever

  • Sounds like Toto on steroids!

  • 3 people don't know what amazing talent really is!!

  • Haslip's bass solo is first rate. He had been working out with Jaco at the time.

The bass and drums exchange is hot stuff

  • @anettehallstrom

Yes, im 13 and my dads a jazz/funk musician, so i grew up to this! My favorite band by far! Along with steely dan.

  • @Wetdreamdiver uh no...Casey is still alive and occasionally posts here,it was Mark Craney who played on the Brother to Brother recording.Mark died in 2005 from complications from multiple health problems including diabetes, liver failure, etc..
