This may have been written by Tim Staffell, and would explain the early Queen sound that it has. When Freddie says "I know he doesn't know it" he may be referring to John Deacon, who may not have ever played it until this recording.
Whatever the truth (doesn't Brian May know???) it's one of the greatest unreleased demos from any band I've ever heard.

The way I look at it, Roger's drums are the key. Freddie could sound youthful, later on but Roger couldn't get those drums earlier and not use them until 5-6 albums later...
