  • "The Crimson Idol" is the best CD I've ever heard!

  • I like each track on the album but nowadays I don't listen to it in one go. Small doses for me. I can't relate to it as one big story, maybe because I'm not a rock star. "Be careful what you wish for" is about the only message on the album that rings true to me.

  • Must Agree This Is the best cd ever made and it will never be topped w.a.s.p fan forever

  • Me and Blackie went to different schools together, plus im his siamese twin.

  • write a movie Blackie,..dont waste my time with this,..what the fuck was that?,...ON YOUR KNEES!! DAMMITT!!

  • that is so fucking true i had so meny demos and i whished to god that pepole would leave me alone and it happen so yeah be carefull what you wish for

  • if you get the special edition cd of crimson idol, disc 2 has a 20 minute more discriptive story to this...he says everything he said here but tells more, it really is fuckin cool. i think you can find the story on here. check it out, 95% of it is a true story about blackie, most wasp songs were written back in the 70's believe it or not. some songs from crimson idol as well, dockter rockter, gypsy meets the boy, even for whom the bell tolls from the headless children b sides.

  • As I understand it, the album "Still Not Black Enough" is almost like it was supposed to be part of "The Crimson Idol," but described as "Blackie not hiding behind Johnathan Steele"

Also heard or read somewhere along the way that Blackie says something to the effect that maybe Crimson Idol was closer to reality for him than he admitted before.

But I'm not really sure - never heard anything definitive per se.

  • Stll not Black Enough came after the Crimson Idol not K.F.D.
