AA is not for Christians...Alcoholism is sin NOT a disease

If ANYONE is in Christ he is a NEW creation, OLD things have passed away behold ALL THINGS are new! ( 2 Cor 5:17) If the SON sets you free...YOU ARE FREE! Dont put the shackles back on that he was beaten, and died for. I drank the kool aid for many years until I was truly born again! This is not Pride but praising Him who is the giver of all good gifts(James 1:17)

Drunkenness is a SIN not being an Alcoholic. Alcoholics cannot ingest alcohol and they go into an insane craving of the body and mind; so alcoholics abstain. Addiction is a medical fact and some aspects of addiction baffle Dr.s so people abstain and seek help with others like them. When helping others they identify themselves as a way of relating.

@sgchurchofchrist The alcoholic just needs to be born again. God will then give him a new heart ( Ez 36:25-27) and will make them a new creation, the old will pass away and ALL THINGS will be made new ( 2 Cor 5:17) When the leper or the demon possesed people were healed, they didnt join lepers anonymous....they lept for JOY! This is what the alcoholic has to look forward to if he would humble himself and turn to Jesus and turn away from drink. it is impossible to be bornagain and an alcoholic

@carloschapinski Its not a disease, its sin. I was addicted to alcohol, cocaine and anything else i tried for 15 years....then I was born again and Jesus took all that away. Read John 3, 2 Chor 5:17, Gal 2:20 col 3 Rom 6 and many more....Jesus can and will save you if you humble yourself and believe He is God and repent from your sine and put your faith and trust entirely in Him and Him alone. There arent 12 steps...only one, you must be born again. Peace to you, call out to Jesus!

Thank you Matt for posting this video! I had been in AA for three years and saved for 3 years and baptized for just as long. I have been feeling the Lord laying on heart that was surrounded by people in AA who are worshipping a false God and that I was healed from my former obession with alcohol and drugs by the Holy Spirit. Thank you, 2 corinth 5:17 that I am no longer an alcoholic. I have been able to drink normal for almost a year. Self, control is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

AA has saved lives: also, do you know what is to be "dry drunk" ? it also applies (only stronger) to Coke addicts. Cocaine users severely damage their brains after some time of usage.
