@bluesman178 Do you know Lisbon? The images you see here is the place where the research center will be built. That part of the city is abandoned for some years, that area was part of "Docapesca" that were moved to other part of the country some years ago. See here the actual place almost ready to open:

@bluesman178 it isnt bombed out. that part of lisbon i bening destroyed so the foundation can be built there.

LOL...that is a part of abandoned docks .....Lisbon is actually very nice....only San Francisco in the US could compete in quality of life with Lisbon ....

Why does Lisbon look like a bombed out city, Eastern Europe, or an abandoned ghetto in Detroit, USA? if this is what Portugal looks like and where you guys do science, I wont be visiting any time soon!
