By request, these are the closing credits from the February 25, 1986 episode of SFT. This was the final appearance of the Cortner & Barranco theme aired the day Henderson was destroyed by a flood. The next episode featured a new title sequence and theme by Billy Chinnock. From a European broadcast with no voiceovers.

  • It's a shame that AOL denied us the chance to see these episodes again... If they'd kept posting 3 eps a week as they were doing, I do believe we would have seen these shows by now.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • what was GT like as a headwriter? i have to deal with him now as a co-ep on days now he's doing a decent job.

  • I remember him on SFT right after he was off RH. He wasn't on for very long on SFT

  • Dr. Sullivan was played by Geoffrey Pierson, who previously played Frank Ryan on Ryan's Hope around 1983-84.

  • This was one of the best themes they had of the show among w/The Edge of Night and As the World Turns (from 1982 - 1993). I never liked Another World theme songs, except for the last one they had

  • ..........you are right, this version of SFT

IS jazzy and upbeat,it reminds me of

something they play on CD 101.9

  • Thanks a lot for posting this. I was always curious to hear where this theme went because when the credits ended, it would go to black...a lot. Thanks for posting!.

  • I didn't know that John Loprieno was on SFT in 1986, right before he went to OLTL.

  • Outta all the SFT themes I think I like this version best of all. It's jazzy & upbeat & fits the show real well. I could listen to this over & over. Thanks for postin'.
