Typical example of the product of post-1970s mental-retards in taking a beautiful melody with opulent disco orchestrations - in this case, by the Richard Hewson Orchestra - and corrupting it with vomit-eliciting machine-generated "drums" and electronic overdubs. Pathetic.
@7theflyingdutchman The original came out in 1975. The PWL remix was release in 1989.
In Australia the band was called british Jigsaw becase at that time there was a Aussie band called Jigsaw. have both version in my collection of treasured vinyl...
@trancematic01 Agree.....fantastic remix from the magic touch of Pete Hammond. Clive Scott from Jigsaw sadly passed away 2 years ago. He & Des Dyer also wrote a great song for Jon Otis.
Outstanding dance version of their huge hit from years gone by! I loved playing this and it remains one of my top records from the 80s!! LIBIDO RECORDS, England. 1989.
im sorry but this song did not come out in the 80s. 1972 or 3 i was doing my girlfriend girlfriend at this time and out of no where she wanted to end it. pissed me right off. she was the best i ever had.

Terrible. Made a great song into a sub-par noise generator. Like most remakes....

A fabulous very retro remix of an original song. The Newton version is also excellent!
