  • Layne, any reason why you keep the bar on your upper back/mid traps instead of higher up on your traps?

  • @Xeaglesfan07X because my femurs are so long that if i high bar squat I end up folded over in half at the bottom. low bar puts less stress on my low back. It's the opposite for most people but i'm weird because my femurs are so long and my torso is so short

  • @biolayne maybe it's because you dont let your knees move forward.

    i think i have similar body proportions, and when i was trying to hold my knees i had similar issue, and also very similar low bar squat technique
