My grandmother used to sing this song to me every time we sat on the porch swing for our "hour of power". She lived and believed every word of this remarkable hymn of the church. It has brought me comfort on many days when I thought I could go no further and needed strength. You Go Aretha!!!! God truly blessed you with a wonderful voice to minister to His people.

Have any of you ever studied Aretha's face when she sings? she really means what she is singing and that is what's missing in todays music. Aretha is not trying to grand stand.....she gets into the meaning if the song and to me that is why she is such a standout singer. A lot of these young performers need to take note and stop showboating all the time.
