Here is a classic film clip about boys pretending to be drills and tractors. I recorded this in 1986. I remember watching this when I was about three of four years old. I think it was filmed in 1969. Originally, I wasn't going to include it because it is featured on the "Sesame Street: Old school vol. 1" DVD. I changed my mind because some people don't have the DVD. Hopefully, people will go out and buy it after watching this clip. Old School S.S. fans like me remember the "I'm broken" part!

  • Why doesn't quality stuff like this exist anymore!!! Our kids need this to positively stimulate their minds!

  • treadley, I'm with you on the ice cream! We used to pretend we were those kids when we got ice cream at home. Ah the memories. Thanks to mstatz for posting this gem!

Too bad Sesame St doesn't do stuff like this anymore :-(

  • First time I have seen this in 36 years! Blast from the past! Thanks for the upload!! :D

  • WARNING TO ALL KIDS: Don't EVER do to any of your friends or family what the blonde guy does to his friend in 1:43. While I - as a kid - watched this skit when it originally aired, I imitated it by doing that to my dad (while also doing car starter sounds) and it made his nose bleed. Same thing happened to my baby bro when I did it to him too. Not a good scene! :(

So basically, cutting a long story short: DON'T IMITATE WHAT YOU SEE ON TV - OR ON YOUTUBE!

  • "What's the matter?"

    >>"I'm broken."

Press the nose and crank the tummy.

  • That little dude is gonna git a ice cream headache.

  • I loved Sesame Street. Always wondered why my boy never watched it. Probably because they stopped showing segments and skits like this one.

  • Well I found out in the( Who was Jim Henson?) book that one those 3 kids was Brian Henson.

But who are those 2 other kids.

  • @quepsi84 Could you be more descriptive about the segments you were in?

  • I've been looking for some of these videos for years!!! I'm the kid in the red sweater at the end. I did about four different segments and have been trying to locate the rest. Anyone that can help, would have my appreciation. By the way, it was maaaad fun...
