Got Me Going Crazy Chapter 6 Part 4

It's kinda short but i have a ton of homework and stuff to do...so...i'll post more on thursday after a lit presentation...sigh...okay on with the story!::::

Two weeks passed and the six spent there time quietly hanging out and swimming in the lake.Kevin woke up and threw on some clothes, hurrying downstairs. "Morning!" he said happily, grabbing an apple and taking a bite.
"Good morning." Mandy grumbled, still sleepy. Kevin sat down next to her and kissed her cheek.
"Get a room," Liz said grumpily.
Kristy smacked the back of Liz's head saying, "They're boyfriend and girlfriend they are allowed to do that."
"Owie!" Liz rubbed the back of her head.
"So do we have anything planned for today?" Kevin asked excitedly.
"Nope. Sorry" Joe stole Kevin's apple and took a giant chunk out of it.
"It's okay." Kevin looked at Joe who offered back Kevin's apple. "No thanks..." Kevin said disgusted. Joe shrugged and ate another chunk. Suddenly the doorbell rang.
Kevin got up and went to open the door. There was the sound of a girl squealing and a guy yelling, "Kevin!". Joe, Kristy, Mandy, Liz, and Nick ran into the hallway.
Joe and Nick stopped short and their jaws dropped. "Kim?" Joe asked, eyes widening.
"Who's Kim?" Liz asked quietly.
"Kevin's ex." Joe breathed.
"Uh oh. Can someone spell drama?" Kristy asked as Kevin introduced Mandy and Kim.
"D-R-A..."
"Joe. I wasn't serious." Kristy shook her head.
"Oh... Hey Luke!" Joe yelled, running over to the boy who was standing awkwardly in the doorway.
"Hey man!" Luke and Joe did their weird man handshake.

After everyone was introduced the girls went upstairs to show Kim around and let her drop her stuff into the guest room. They then decided to paint their nails. Meanwhile, the boys went into the basement to mess around on their guitars, drums, and keyboards.
"Kevin what's up with you?" Nick asked, putting his hand on his brother's shoulder. "You seem kind of...distracted..."
"What?" Kevin asked, looking up.
"Exactly my point." Nick laughed.
"Oh...just been thinking..." Kevin muttered.
"Okay man," Luke sat down next to Kevin, "who is she and what's wrong?"
"How do you know that it's girl trouble?" Kevin asked.
"Dude, I've known you since you were five. I think I know when something's up." Luke nudged his shoulder, "Now tell me."
"Uh oh..." Joe looked over at them, "Don't tell me that you still like Kim, Kevin!"
"What's wrong with that?" Luke asked.
"Um...he's kind of Mandy's boyfriend..." Nick looked around worriedly.
"Oh...well that is a problem...especially since..." He stopped.
"Since what?" Kevin looked over at him.
"I kind of heard Kim talking on the phone with her friend Ava and she said something about wanting to get back together with you..." Luke's last words were barely audible.
"Really?" Kevin asked hopefully.
Joe slapped him.
"I mean...really?" he said in a much flatter tone.
