The beach culture is different up and down Waikiki. Today on The Aloha Show starring Kimo is at the end of Waikiki Beach: The Wail, Kapi'olani Park and Diamondhead Crater Hawaii. This was the ancient summer beach of Hawaiian royalty and the sport of kings, surfing. Now home to homeless, Japanese tourists and franchise mainland restaurants... Free Hawaii return stolen lands to what is left of the Hawaiian race.. stop illegal immigration from America. Build a casino downtown so people have something entertaining to do other than eat and drink. Hawaii tourism is now depending upon China to follow the Japanese invasion.

  • I can still remember Duke driving his white Rolls Royce down Kalakaua when it was 2 way and not one way traffic. Thank you for posting this video KIMO! – This is Homesick for Waikiki and the wall -- Michael

  • Mahalo Kimo, Flying over Waikiki and the wall does bring back great memories of 1962 -1968 when we all used hang out at the wall. My brothers and sisters and friends used to hang around Waikiki and the wall because my mother worked at a place called Duke’s. Duke’s was owned by the late Duke Kahanamoku and in fact my mother and Don Hoe were hired the same day by Duke and became very close friends.
