Learn how to trace placed images into Illustrator CS4 with a number of different methods. Redraw a logo, and redraw a map as well. Also take a hand drawn image that contains line work and convert it to vectors with the Live Trace Feature. In all we look at 3 different methods and heaps of sweet tips... business as usual.

  • no offense but i would think with this type of production you would use better microphones for your dialog.

  • Love the warp tool tip, I was able to knock up a pretty bloody good map of Britain with it despite being an Illustrator beginner.

  • yea no disrespect i like the show, it would just be easier to hear if it was rigged better i guess, perhaps a wireless clipped one would do you best.

  • how do i import an ai file into an open illustrator session..? iv put together some separate vector images in illustrator as i learn how to use it but now i want to put some of the images together on the same illustrator page...currently all my projects are in separate sessions ...i want to combine them...how..?

    i had a tutorial on tracing a logo for recolouring today and he made it so difficult!

    im a Photoshop user so my first thought was "load section"but we have to use Illustrator for our course, you made 100 times more sense than my tutor

    It really helps with my project!
