@Takes1Bullet no, if you get either the black or red version you can opt for red colured interior pieces, look at video at 1:47, the pieces that on the dash and curve around on door are painted red on both sides, and also get the seats with a black and red style pattern. it actually looks pretty good for a bit of girly car

I'm looking for a automatic and I loved the Spark. Quite disappointed that it's only available with manual transmission.

the spark is awesome, my brother just bought one with all the upgrades with lever and metallic silver paint and it looks sick, if you think the spark is girly then you must think the mini cooper is queen elizabeth.

If a car's name or marketing hype challenges your masculinity (not touching anything mazda!?), then there's something wrong with YOUR masculinity. Judge cars by the way they drive and their reliability not how they are gender marketed.

@nikhilr51 Nothing against Holden and I like the Spark's interior. I just think they need to shift their narrow minded marketing of only appealing to young women in the small car segment. Naming cars Barina Spark or Festiva just turns off many potential male buyers looking for an economical car. The new Mazda 2 is not that bad for a guy if you upgrade to the top of the line Genki model. The leather steering wheel, gear shift, sports styling make it fun to drive for male or female.

@AUUnboxer Agreed. Why holden?!!? But.... i havent seen one mazda that looks even slightly manly. I will never touch any mazda. The spark looks pretty good though.

This is very much a chicks car that could be a guys car also if Holden did not screw up the marketing. Barina Spark is not a name that would entice many guys to try this car out compared to a Mazda 2 which is more gender neutral.
