U're wrong. Rephrase the last. U can't expect a pure Peranakan to find a another pure to carry on the traditions. As time changes, we do follow up the times to change. As long the male decendent is a pure "blood", it doesn't matter his offspring (preferably a male) is mixed, and carry on the traditions. If the offspring chosen not to, we can't force him nor hantam him, b'coz of the Laws that we abide in. U try to find a pure one in this era, mostly are mixed, but claimed themselves to be pure.

the dumbling is not original. he use plastic rope instead of banana ropes. the dumpling oso not real. nyonya dumbling is white n blue at the each angle..he make one just looks like chinese dumbling which is brown colour..they way he speak also not like baba speak..they not pure peranakan..

i'm a part of a peranakan family too...so grateful to taste ayam pong teh, kuih chang, kuih tepek, kuih bakul and so on....love the culture!....maybe i'll marry a peranakan nyonya in order to keep the colouful tradition and culture alive....
