In the live version he says "This is a song I wrote while I was at Casper College, when I had no sense, and i didn't care about hot cars or hot women, all I cared about was bucking horses!"
Chris wrote this while at Casper College, (just about the time he won the College Finals, and just like he'd predicted in the lyrics, he did become Champion of the World in 1976. He was one great guy!
@BarebackRider01 sounds like a good time to be alive man. when you have a passion for somethin' if you lose it its gone forever only memories exist
