Als was würdest Du seine denn sonst Insektenkunde bezeichnen, d.h. seine Sammlungen, Manuskripte, Fotographien und Aufzeichnungen, die er über die Jahre zusammengestellt hat, wenn nicht als aktive Forschungsarbeit? Seine minutiöse Arbeit im Schwäbischen, die dazu geführt hat, dass sogar das BW-Wissenschafts- und Forschungsministerium einen Entomologiespreis nach ihm benannt?
