Visit http://www.leftcoastexotics.com/1987-porsche-959/ to see this Very rare and exotic Porsche 959 sold by Left Coast Exotics. This is a very rare 959 - fewer than 350 ever built and the basis for Porsche's all-wheel drive sports cars - in fact it is one of the first high-performance vehicles to use an all-wheel drive system.

Currently licensed and titled in California. One of 106, "Comfort" editions built for 1987 by Porsche which include Air Conditioning and Power windows and door locks. Converted by Canepa Design for collectors that actually want to drive their cars in the US. Numerous modifications made that help performance, reliability and ease of use, yet don't hurt the aesthetics or provenance of the vehicle.

According to Bruce Canepa, "Nothing is done to the car that cannot be undone". Original odometer was swapped out for US compliance with 7,439 miles, current odometer shows 1,679. Total miles are 9,118. This particular 959 is a joy to drive, very reliable and easy to use in all types of environments.

  • @1hughjazzspider It's a classic now. The emissions laws no longer prohibit them from running on the roads in the USA.

  • how much man?

  • It's funny he has a California tag on there considering its not legal to register these cars in California because of its emissions.

  • Dreadful wheel colour, whoever painted those should be shot!

  • @SkullFrog2 i bet it´s like 400-500k...

  • @MrNodzilla @OZPerpetue I'm pretty sure red came only with black wheels, white came only with white wheels, and silver came only with silver wheels. I could be wrong though.

  • @OZPerpetue .Yeah,i can't really remember any black wheels in that era, they look great though!

  • @MrNodzilla Im 99% sure they are, but I think they were painted afterwards because I have never seen them in black.

  • @OZPerpetue .I'm changing my mind, the reds growing on me,especially with those wheels. Are those the original wheels that came with the car?

  • @MrNodzilla There were a few red ones.
