Herception--a targeted therapy breast cancer drug developed at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center--saved the life of Louise Cooper, who is still going strong 10 years after receiving a cancer diagnosis.
This video gives me such hope! Congratulations to you on your recovery and I am looking forward to having the same prognosis once my treatment course is through.
Dr Slamon inspires me and gives me hope. God Bless every one who battles breast cancer & God Bless Dr Slamon & his staff for giving women around the world HOPE, FAITH & COURAGE !
After almost 10 yrs.cancer free, I was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic HER2 positive BC in August. I began Herceptin-Aromasin treatments in Sept.(No chemo) In 2 weeks I will have my first scan since this targeted therapy began--I can hardly wait! I feel & look wonderful-very minimal side effects! Glory Be! I WILL be another Herceptin miracle/survivor! Bless you, Dr. Slamen. I wouldn't have had a chance without your perseverance in getting this drug off the drawing table and onto the market.
Dr. Slamen Bravo!!!! I so wish my mother who passed away with inflammatory breast cancer in Feb 1998 could had been a part of your study! Thank you for saving many womens lives!! You are one amazing man!!
