I had one that looks just like that but it was a person. Same type of game, I think he studied as well. There was a job option in there where I could either dress him up in a suit or as a doctor. I forgot what it was called though :(

@yorkshirerepresenter Very often this is not a hard problem to fix. If you want to brave it out I suggest opening up the toy and pulling out the control buttons. More often than not, the motherboard just needs to be cleaned. You do this by using q-tip swabs. You dip them in rubbing alcohol and then rub the contacts on the motherboard. Also, you can use the swabs to clean off the black contacts underneath the buttons. I BET you that it will be good as new once you put it back together! =)

I have a question for you by watching this video it made me wonder. I got a dinkie dino, looks just like yours but in red. Mine says it in Japanese up on the top but when I go look at the icons it shows up as a fat bird instead of the typical dino you see when you want to praise it or wash it. Would that mean I have a knock off version or ?

A fat bird? That can't be right. It does say RakuRaku DinoKun? Does it function just the same as a normal dinkie? I know that dinkie dino is one of the most cloned devices. It would not surprise me if it was a fake.
