The Russian Revolution started in protest,
When people complained their lives weren't best.
Constitutional monarchy, freedom of rights,
Were just a few factors that caused their fights

When peoples' respect took a dive
Reforms were made by the tsar Nicholas II

Before peasants hit the lair

With the first protest in St. Petersburg,
Bloody Sunday, it became know as, 200 to a thousand deaths
Nicholas's guards killed everybody fast
The Russo-Japanese war got Russia to suffer bad
And in February 1905, a rescript, they had
The Bulygin Rescript promised giving them new rights
Most beneficial for peasants, it led them to new heights
On February 5th, Nicholas approved of the State Duma
And not too late after that, the October Manifesto was made, brah
It presented the Duma as the central legislative body
And also wanted to spread universal suffrage to both women but he
Rejected all new proposals that were thrown at him
And dismissed the meeting on a whim

The result of the revolution
Included a multi-party system
Then they created the Russian Constitution of 1906
Aka their Fundamental laws with a fix
The middle class was given suffrage, but still hanging barely off the ledge
They created Duma and Stolypin Reforms
And also a constituational monarchy was born
Freedom of speech and religious tolerance
A reduction in the peasants' redemption payments
Poles, Finns, and Baltic provinces had their cultures promoted
With Nicholas's later on lies, it was coated
The Social Democrats,
Were Marxist Oriented and that
But in December their fate turned bad

But czardom was still one of their traits
Reforming the new Russia, were political and social changes
And a lot gave peasants wider ranges
